Safe Virginia Initiative:
In response to ongoing tragedies in our country’s schools and lack of meaningful debate on gun safety this past legislative session in Richmond, General Assembly members have joined together to institute the Safe Virginia Initiative.
Please join us for “Beyond Thoughts & Prayers,” which aims to create community dialogue in order to examine comprehensive gun safety solutions throughout Virginia. This event is an opportunity for civic engagement with local elected officials and faith leaders across Northern Virginia, along with experts from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office and the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney. Our discussion will include: "What are practical responses to these ongoing tragedies in our country?" "Should guns be allowed in places of worship?" and "What is the relationship between faith and the Second Amendment?" We hope you'll come and be a part of the discussion.
