Dear Neighbor,

Happy New Year! I hope 2020 brings you great joy and positive change to the Commonwealth of Virginia. The 2020 legislative session starts on Wednesday, January 8th. From January 8th to March 7th, your state elected officials will be reviewing thousands of bills and considering new opportunities for Virginia. 

During the legislative session, I will be sending you a weekly update. This update will provide an overview of the happenings of the General Assembly, popular bills and items that I am personally championing. If you have any questions about the legislative process or upcoming bills or issues, please reach out.

Take My Legislative Survey:

I have released my 2020 General Assembly Survey, a critical tool to collect the opinions the people of the 67th District as we enter a new legislative session. Fairfax County Delegation Public Hearing:

Please be advised that the Fairfax County Delegation will host its annual pre-session public hearing at the Fairfax County Government Center on Saturday, January 4. The meeting will be held in the boardroom and will begin at 9 am and conclude when the last registered speaker has addressed the Delegation. As in past years, Fairfax County staff will publicize hearing details on www.fairfaxcounty.gov. County staff will be also coordinating speaker registration (limited to Fairfax County residents) beginning on December 16, and will extend assistance to residents as needed.

Loudoun County Delegation Public Hearing:

Please be advised that the Loudoun County Delegation will host its annual pre-session public hearing at the Loudoun County Government Center on: Saturday, January 4, 2020  

The Loudoun Delegation requests the honor of your participation in this Legislative Hearing. As we all know, this is an opportunity for our constituents to share their thoughts and concerns with us, prior to the  2020 General Assembly Session beginning January 8, 2020.

Time: 1:00PM-3:00PM 

Location:  Loudoun County Government Center, Board Room, 1 Harrison Street, Leesburg, VA 20175

If you plan to attend, please RSVP to district33@senate.virginia.gov.

January Office Hours:

Delegate Delaney invites you to meet with her on January 18th from 10 AM - 12 PM at Chantilly Regional Library for her monthly office hours. Office hours will allow constituents of the 67th District to express their concerns or comments on what's happening at the state level and within the district.
