This week marked the start of the 2018 General Assembly Session. On Wednesday, my 99 colleagues and I took our oath of office and have hit the ground running.e. I am so honored to have the privilege to serve you and Commonwealth of Virginia. As I support legislation that will progress the state of the Commonwealth, I welcome open conversations about the issues that are important to you. Official Swearing-In
I am honored to have been sworn in as your delegate from the 67th district this Wednesday at noon. Thank you for providing me such a humbling honor. 
Public Hearings Update

Thank you to all who attended and participated in our two public legislative hearings in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties. It was a pleasure to hear about the issues that are important to you. I look forward to carrying them over into the legislative session. 


Legislative Highlights

I have been working hard to prepare legislation for this upcoming session and have filed a variety of bills which tackle issues such as education, affordable child care, and business. Below are highlights of a few of my bills. 

HB 106 - Helping foster children with kinship care

HB 700 -  Making childcare more affordable for hardworking families

HB 1293 - Supporting lawful business owners and the workforce by reducing misclassification of employees

Swearing-in Ceremony 
I invite all my constituents to rally behind me and my colleagues as we have our ceremonial swearings-in on January 20th. All ceremonies will be held at the Capitol Building. Each Delegate will be provided a thirty-minute window.
As a thank you, I will also be holding a small reception afterward at my office in the Pocahontas Building. Due to the size of this space, there will be a cap on the number of in people we will be able to accommodate. If you are interested in attending the reception, please RSVP at
